On the 1st of August the PWA chairman Jimmy Diaz,Turkish Women Champion Cagla Kubat, Turkish Men Slalom 2nd Sinan Gerzile,3rd Ufuk Sonmez and the Starboard Distributor and one of the ex champion Husnu Baylav have passed the eagean channel in between Cesme/Turkey And Chios/Greece.

The organizers of the event was Cesme Tourism Manager Osman Kabasakal and The Municipality Of the Greek Island Chios.

The starboard riders is coached by Ahmet Burkut and the security of the channel pass has been organized by Gurol Gerzile during the channel pass.
