Casper Bouman , with two race wins, and Paul Dos Reis with one win and two second places, secured the other podium places for Wind Brasil World ranking points and prize money. South American titles were also awarded to: Wilhelm Schurmann (Light) ; Mathias Pinheiro (Master) and Aldo Maia (Youth)

Gabriel Browne:
"We finished yesterday the 2011 Wind Brasil, this year as a SouthAmerican Championship. The event was held at the Marina Park Hotel. A perfect venue for Formula races; the wind was around 12 to 18 knots everyday. On a 4 days event we did 11 races total. I’m very happy with my performance this year because I managed to win 7 races out of 8 that I competed in. The last day I didn't even have to compete so I stayed on the beach watching the races. My equipment was working really well again. This is my third title in a row of the event. I would like to thanks all the sponsors that made this event possible again. Hope to race in my home spot again next year. Also, thanks for all the sailors coming from Europe and South America."
