Hi Remi, me again ....
it is good to hear that we can use RDM masts with the smaler sizes. What about using a 490 RDM on the 9.0?
Is there a big difference between the 7.7 and the 8.3. I loved the SSR 7,6 an even the Code Red in 7.7 and i need something to to slalom in 10 ktn an up on my ISonic 133. So I??ve to decide 8.3, 9.0 or something like the Overdrive (8.5 oder will there be a 9.0 too).
Best Regards an many thanks for helping me

The best size for this board are Code Red 9 and 10m.
I never try a RDM 490 and we do not have this in our mast range.
The 9 m work very well with the Red Line SDM 490 + 30cm tip extender. Same with the 10m. Last week I win with that board with the 10 m with SL2 52 in 10 to 15 knots.
All the best

We don't recommend the skinny mast as the first option for the Code Red II. We found that the sail perform better all round with our Severne Red line masts and 370, 400 Blue line masts (for the smaller sizes)
We have a cam conversion package for those that still like to use the Code Red II sails with skinny masts, from 6.7 and down to 4.6. Speed sailors like the use of skinny mast for less drag.
For your Isonis 133 we would recommend the Code Red II 9.0. This sail is just flying - you wont be disappointed. Use the 490 Severne Red line with 30 cm tip extension, as Remi pointed out.
You can upgrade to the Code Red II 7.7 or keep your current Code Red 7.7, which you like so much. The new one has better low end.

Hi Remi, hi Jesper,
ok, very helpfull, so I will stay on Red Line Masts. Jesper is ist nessesary to use the new 490 with tip extension oer would the 490 from 06 work as well?
And what about the Overdrive, can you compare them with the Code Red and will there be a 9.0 as well?
All the Best Holger

Their is no modification from 06 to 07 mast, we just made a special tip extension to increase the perfomance of the Code Red.
We do not have a 9 m in the Overdrive range : 8,5 and 10m are the closser size.
I recomand you as Jesper the new Code Red 9m, it's really fast sail and really easy and feel realy light in your hand. A nother very good positive point, the cams rotate extremely easy, so win a lot of time at the jibes.
All the best

last year the Boom cut out on the 9.0 was very high, nearly a formula shape, is this changed in 07?
All the best Holger

The 9.0 Code Red R2 has the same boom cut out as last year model.
