Hi All,
Kashy Fins and The Windsurfing Enthusiasts of Tidewater are hosting the second " Windsurfing festival.

Big news is that once again Darren Rogers from Hood River Oregon will be coming to be the principle race officer, AND Jesper Vesterstrom will be here giving a clinic on Friday and racing (ahead of us) on Saturday and Sunday!

check out www.kashyfins.com to read more and find the link to the registration list.

The event is open to all windsurfers not just serious guys or just formula, and beginners are being encouraged to attend their first race!

Hi Everyone,

Just to reinforce and add to Dave's Post

The 2011 Kashy/WET Spring Regatta will be held May 13 – 15th, 2011 in Seaford, Virginia.

Race Competition will be held in the following classes: Formula Class, Formula Experience, Open/Longboard (Any gear allowed) and Novice.

WET is encouraging Novice Racers to come try racing as an activity that will improve your sailing, lets you track your windsurfing progress, enables you to meet other local and world class sailors and have a fun social time just hanging out at Dave and Melissa's wonderful Beach.

You haven't raced before? Don’t have any suitable equipment? No need to worry!!

The course will be short, safe and shallow!! We’ll run a short “How to Race Clinic”. And Pete Wells from Beach Sports has generously offered the use of 5 Prodigy Boards and learner rigs at no charge for beginners.

WE had a wonderful event last year and hope to see lots friends, old and new, there this year!!

Two more races today. Most guys on 10.7/11.0. Winds were quite shifty and gusty, very different from yesterday.

Final results at www.kashyfins.com

Everyone had a great time, me included!!!
