Old footage of Robby Naish late 90's on youtube... this is the clip that got me into the sport and I still go back to it whenever I need reminding how sweet this sport is...

Yes. It's from Robby's greatest movie all time: "RIP".
I have the video at home and cannot remember how many times I've seen it, but it must be close to 50.

Nice addition Belskorpio... I swear I will never buy another bit of gear until I am shredding that f***ing fast and doing sweet loops like that with the stuff I already own. My gear is all a full ten years newer than what he is riding... and still I lust for stuff just a little bit newer...

If you look at the "old school" equipment that Robby is using, it makes you wonder if we need all the new stuff. :)
Anyway, I'm too old now to do this crazy sh*t.
I've stopped doing waves when I broke my leg +/- 10 years ago in Tenerife / Medano with a jump of +/- 4 meters. Nothing compared to what Robby is doing.
Let's stick to slalom ... :) Fun enough without too many risks.

I have similar story. I broke 2 vertebrae and popped a disc out in neck !! Sort of curtailed my failed (literally ) attempts at wave jumping !! Was abpot time that video was made.
There is a video of Robby looping a long board ;cant remember which model but it must be 370 long and he loops the thing !!
Would be great to get all old kit out and see how it feels and goes like.
