Kiteboarding will replace windsurfing in 2016 Olympic game .
Who care except Neilprye !
Who will want to race among 50 boards in dirty turbulent wind during the start ?

Ok it's not the end of the world. But nonetheless its a sad news.
They voted out windsurfing for the kites (they don't even use sails and are part of the sailing disciplines?).
They voted out the fittest sailing participants.
They voted for a discipline with no current one-design (or is ISAF now getting rid of one design?)
They keep in sailing boats that are much more expensive than any windsurf equipment could be.
Congratulations to the kites my disregards to ISAF and IOC.
But its not over. Hopefully windsurfing will have a great comeback in 2020. Now there are 4 years to develop the killer board that will bring us back to the olympics.

I still ask myself how the will do a sport like kite that requires at least 7-8 knots. Therefore, they send home windsurf still done by thousands people and keep sports like the javelin, disc launch or other ridicoulous stuff that pheraphs have not more than some hundreds athletes around the world. I'm disgusted about Olimpycs
