about the formula 161

i have one on my mind is that why does the formula 161 have side cuts on the board but why is the i sonic fast even in lighter winds plss need some help here

The Formula is built for going upwind while the Isonic is built for going cross the wind. you can use the 155 Isonic is some very light winds.
