View Full Version : Remi - Thoughts on best footstraps
21st April 2007, 09:58 PM
I recently acquired an F161, and find the footstraps too tight regardless of position. I am using them at the last adjustment position as well as going front to front on the board. Any thoughts on this ?
I am in the process of getting the adjustables from the dealer, but wonder what others have found. FYI, I am not a basketball player so my feet are a normal size (10)...

I have the same problem with my 160, even with very skinny feet. I use the Dakine Core contour straps; the ones that are normally sold in a 3-pack with a specialized mid-back strap for waveboards. The front straps run all over the board makes for a nice setup. No adjustability (but the screws) and very stiff; I can step on them for an extended period and still they are open and easy to get in. Only problem is that they are slippery in combo with my winter boots, so I sometimes struggle to keep my front foot wedged in there. No problem with my normal boots though. I'm happy with these straps for sure.

You can add a hole with a really hot stud to a have the perfect trim.
My size is also 10 and don't need any change, but this depend also of each riding style.
All the best
