Does anyone think I could use an isonic 87 on my 4.8 - 6.6 for slalom?
I weigh 140 - 145 pounds and i sail in the gorge so I am really used to rough conditions and high winds.

I prefere for my iS87 the 6,6 as best size in +20kn. Sometimes also the 5.3 as smallest in high winds. 93kg/184cm. Very good contral, nice jibing.

I own isonic 95 and 3 months ago bought isonic 111lt.I was amazed by the board, really fast and it's very good in chop conditions. The Sonic 95 (2006) is faster but becomes really scaring in chop conditions. The question is:Isonic87 would be faster in flat or/and chop conditions than the Sonic95?

iS111: my favorite sail size 7,6 with the original 42cm fin. The 36 fin fin to short for that wide tail. Max size Code Red 2 in 9,0 with fin 44. Smaller than 7,6 I dont use, good up to 35kn. My max speed with this 7,6 combo 34,6kn. I love it.
Cheers peter
