big jumps come from behind powered up with big wind, thats what lets you fly. When you take off think of lifting the heels and pushing on the toes to get the wind under the windward edge, then you can get the lift to lift you and start flying. also drop yourself down to fin level when you get in the air to control the flight. Have a look at www.peter-hart.com and click on "Tips". Its has about angling the board in much more detail and in an easier to understand way than what i've described. Also you may want to buy 'serious about waves 2' (avaible from most websites or http://www.acrobat-tv.co.uk/shop/Products.aspx?ptid=1&sec=Windsurfing , that has a good section on how to jump well (as well as tricks e.g. loops and table tops). Hope it helps
