I've had both NP X9 260-310 and now MS 265-310. I'm definitely not looking back now; the MS is imo great!

The Maui Sails booms are first rate. The thought that went into the design and most importantly the strength and stiffness are first rate. I have had other booms from HPL, Fiberspar, Epic, NP, Chinook. This booms have the features I liked from those booms without the ones I don't.

Maui Sails without the slightest doubt. Even if it was twice the price. Those booms simply have no match.

I agree, the Maui Sails booms are the stiffest, have the best front end, and are the best overall; be mindful that they are a bit heavy.

MS booms are engineered to level unequaled by anything else I've ever seen on the market. The front end is impeccable. If you've got some other brand out there and you're not in the market to buy now, I would highly recommend retrofitting the front end to the MS one. A simple task that offers substantial improvement. Also, it's notable how little fastening power is required for a solid attachment that will not slip. Your masts will benefit over the long haul, as the risk of crushing the mast is virtually nonexistant. However, the clamping power of the lever is tremendous, so it's very important not to over tighten.
