Hi AJ,

The best one for light wind until max 15 knots is the R19 soft -- rake + 8cm.

After beter to use a R13 medium or soft rake + 6 or 8cm depend of your weight.

All the best

Hi AJ,

So you are heavy so yes the R13 is good but which rake are they?

For ultimate performances in light wind the R19 wil be better.

heavy??..haha..The seller dont the the rake, he said it was the "first
edition" or something... I guess Im gonna look for a soft r19 indstead..
but then again, i sail for kicks, not competions etc..so maybee its
worth saving the bucks...
thanx for your answers..

Hi Remi,

So, for a 170lb. guy and windy conditions would you recommend R13 Soft or Medium. And rake +6 or +8? What about the size, is 70cm the only size to get?

cheers!

Hi Jeff,

Personally I am right now at 84 kgs and don't need to use under 70cm.

I am using the R13 medium rake + 8cm with not so much choppy water, but go for the R13 soft rake + 6cm when is really choppy.

All the best

Hi Remi.

My weight is 66 Kg. What is the best long in the fin considering sail 9.8 SB 161 shopwater and about 18 knots.

Thanks

Hi Jairo,

We prefer to change fin profil than reduce the size, so in your case I will go for the R17 Soft 70 rake + 8cm

Thanks Remi.

Right now I'll can get a fin R16 70 rake + 8cm. Do you think that is a good choice too.

Hi Remi,

Please can you answer the next question?

Let me explain you before:

I sail in a lake with unstable wind conditions (some places 12 knots and others 20 knots), Im 66 kg weight, shopwater, SB 161, fin drake R 19 rake +8, sail 9,8 NP.

Right now, I want to have a fin that I can use with these wind conditions but better performance.

A Windsurfermate is offering a fin deboichet R 16, 70 cms rake +6 and other Deboichei R 13, 70 cms, rake +6.

Which of these fins can be better for me, or what option do you recomend me.

Regards

Jairo
