Sail Brand / Mast Brand compatibility

Well I know it's a complicate question and point but it's a very common topic on beaches so let's try to have some better feedbacks!

The optimum: sail and mast from the same brand (and same year!)
But you know better than me that optimum is in most cases very distant from reality!

Waiting for the moment all brands would precisely indicate their bend curve, let's make a compatibility list!!

For instance, as starting point. I got a north viper aero 460 mast, how would it go with Naish sails?

Hi AlexWind,

I know that your intentions are good here, but I think it's akin to shooting a gun to hit targets around corners. Really, it's trying to work on the edge of what might be considered viable. I guess some might find value after buying a sail brand and masts that prove problematic, and later wanting to switch to another brand with some salvage capability in mind. Frankly, it might be possible, but it's usually more of a compromise than anything else.
