It's great to see the response to Jame's article over the last few months on 'Why i'm into longboards'. I notice our website got a mention.

We are a couple of enthusiasts in Australia who have just set up a website called LBWS - longboard windsurfing. The site aims to provide a forum for longboard enthusiasts from around the world to come together to discuss longboard windsurfing. The address is http://www.lbws.com.au

Please check it out and tell us what you think.

Thanks

Rob

By the way LBWS is a non profit web site.

Hi Rob

looks like a great site - I have just registered !!!!

I also have been following Jame's article over the weeks with keen interest.

I have been a keen longboard sailer for over 25 years and of the 50 times I have been out this year over half have been on my 10 year old Fanatic Mega Cat mainly with my Ezzy Infinity 8.5 and a Tushingham Lightning 9.4 which seems to be made for the board!!!!

I am the only longboard sailer from my local beach and although my Formula mates have a laugh at me (usually as they sail past) I just love my cat.I can cruise up and down the coast up the local river estuaries etc, places formula boards just can't go, in the company of my son on his F2 Lightning 285.

I have tried formula gear but don't get on with it.
