I'm looking for information on where to rent (if possible) good wavesailing gear in Peru. I will be there in January for a few weeks and will be spending some time on the coast. Any info on conditions, where to sail, rentals, websites etc would be really appreciated! I seem to remember a company named "Windadventures Peru" in your posts a few years ago. Is it still active?

how are you? here Ricardo Guglielmino, I am the director of THE WIND ADVENTURE.
Great to know you are coming to Peru. If you are coming in January hope we meet here and go wavesailing some days.
Wind here is pretty good in January and climate is really nice 25+ celcius degrees all days.
We have Starboard / Severne / Maui Sails equipment for rental pre-reservation so you can come without the need of equipment.
A great place to visit is Pacasmayo, we have really good conditions there with no crowds and a great hotel in front of the spot, with a nice pool, restaurant and people.
Also, Paracas is a good place to go, smaller waves but great sight.
Please send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can coordinate with enought time before you come as its summer.
Look at this pictures of our last trip to Pacasmayo:
and the pictures of the National Wave Champ 2007 in Pacasmayo and previuos events in Pacasmayo and Zarate (Paracas) here:
Hey, this is great, nice country, nice waves, nice winds, friendly people and no crowds in the spots!

Hi Chris C,
if you should like real waveriding, move up to Pacasmayo. An endless wave, clean and not too windy. Paracas offers pretty much nature and lonesome spots with nice watercolors.
Peru is really great,
