Hello,it's my first time here...
I have ordered the new formula 162,i'll have it in not more than 10 days....i have told that this new board is working better with a newest fin than the older ones.I have a deboichet R13 soft rake +8.I used it with the formula 147 (smaller tail than the new one).
I am a medium windsurfer,(quite better in slalom than formula) and this year is my first attempt for the Greek championship.I weight 85-90 kg,1.80cm tall, using 12.0 maui tr2,11.0 severne code red and 10.0 maui tr2.I know that it depends of the style you are sailing but which fin is best for 1)winds 7-14 knots 2)14-20knots and 3)20+knots?
I don't know very much about the formula fins.Of what i know rake is the angle of the fin...the more rake better angle but slower, less angle the opposite.Soft for less wind, medium or hard for stronger? In general heavier sailors use softer fin than leightweight in strong winds?
I know that these are a lot of questions but i prefer to ask you...on the beach everyone has i different oppinion....
Thank you in advance.....
