I am the proud and happy owner of an Isonic 122 and I am currently contemplating of purchasing a smaller more all around board to use with max 7m2 (when overpowered on the Isonic) and min 5.4m2 (when underpowered on my 77 lt wave board). Being a 77kg and fairly advanced windsurfer, would you recommend the Futura 93 or the Futura 101?

Many thanks in advance.

Tough call. I have the F101, lots of wave boards and the iS101. While the F101 is surprisingly composed in lots of wind (I have sailed it even in powered up 4.0) I still think the F93 will be a better complement to your existing stuff.

If this is your "high-wind" slalomish board, I would go Futura 93, I tried the 101 and while it is a very nice board is not something I would particularly enjoy taking out in powered up 5.4. Below that it is kind of silly to use a 101. A smaller isonic might also be nice ...

I have the F93 and ride it mainly with a 6.7 RSR. I'm 84 KG and have this combo going in 15 knots. Very good board, and in my opinion at your weight, would be the only choice. Have done 30+ knot nautical mile in 18-22 knots of wind. This board accelerates to over 30 knots very easily.
