I have an "original" Starboard Go from either 1998 or 1999, I'm not sure which. It was the first "real" board I bought. At this point it's pretty worn out and I'm looking to replace it. I'd like to get something comparable but I have no idea what the volume is -- it's not marked on it and I can't find it online anywhere. Someone told me once that it's 185 liters but I'm not sure.

Any idea? It looks to me like it's bigger than the current Go 180 and maybe somewhere between the Go 180 and the Start. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Peter

I read it was measured by Ken Winner at 176L for a mag test when it first came out.

I had an original Go, so my recommendation would be the Go155, (had one), or Futura 155, ( not had one).

Thank you Rod, I'm 6', 250 and intermediate at best, I would think 155 would be a bit small, although I'm surprised I don't sink a 175 at all. It's been a good size for me as I can uphaul on it in virtually any conditions, even serious swell. I've got an ancient F2 Strato longboard as well that I recently sailed again after many years and it was definitely easier for me to plane it up in lighter winds, so I'm thinking a little more volume may help. Thanks for your help!
