From 15 to 25 knots is better Is 101 or 94? (86 kg)

I'm about your weight and used to sail a Sonic95. Was confronted with your same decision as I sail in the same (+/-) 15 to 25 knots winds. During the first season, I used Maui Sails TR-2 6.6 and 7.6. I discovered that 1) actually, most times I was on 7.6 at my spot, once the wind built up I ended up going to shore and switching down to 6.6 because conditions were just perfect for that, and 2) the Sonic95 could easily carry the 7.6 but was not competitive in its proper conditions. Ended with purchasing 6.3 and 7.0 in '07 (TR-3), and again in '08 (guess which sails...).
My decision was heavily based on 1) the fact that usually at my spot if it's windy, it's windy, and 2) I prefer to have a perfect setup for really good days than to have a perfect one for the days I'd better do something else than windsurfing. That said, and assuming the 94 has range and performance similar to those of the Sonic95, I'd go for the iS94, 6.3 and 7.0. IF you are thinking about competitions instead of just having fun, I guess the iS101 (or even 111) is the choice (with 6.6 and 7.6).

I had to make the same decision and went for the 94. For me the iSonic 101 felt a lit to close to my iSonic 125. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to thest the 101, but the 94 is a great board. Works well with 5.7-7.7 range. Board has enough flotation (I'm 92kg) if the wind drops. Easy to gybe and good speed and control. Going upwind is a bit tricky, but I was using a small fin (31 cm) that day.
Don't think you can go wrong with either of them.

What sails will you use with it? If it's around 7.5 most of the time, go for the 101. If you're mostly well powered with 7 and smaller, go for the 94.
