Hi.
I use to have a biggerwave board for low wind days using 5.7 or 5.3.
Is the Kode 94 a wave board or it is more a freestyle-wave like the RRD or Goya One ?
Thanks

Hi,
The kode is more a freestyle/wave board.
I have sailed with it alot in Maui and like it.
It more a all around board.
pretty fast in speed for just cruising.
Jumping with this board is so easy and controlable.
wave riding it felt a bit big in the waves in Maui but I was mostly sailing with it
with 4.7 sail. 30+knots of wind.
So for sure if you are using 5.3 - 5.7 sails in lighter conditions it will work for you.
I have enjoy sailing with this board in Maui and this board is simply A+ WOW.
I have sailed with the Goya boards but I didn't like the carving of this board.
The Kode give you the carving and still keeping the speed while wave riding.

Yo,
The Kode 86 is more towards wave. but still a good board for freestyle and freeride aswell.
It's much quicker in carving when wave riding reacts quicker then the 94.
Feels much comfortable in high wind to medium conditions.
5.3 - 4.5 sail will be a good choice on it
The kode 86 I sailed and tested it more as a freestyle board and it's very quick still keeping the balance in high shaka's, loops, spocks.
In the wave's i have enjoyed it because it's so simple to ride and it doesn't get nervous.
