Futura Vs. I Sonic

What would be the main difference between the Futura and I Sonic boards? Looking at lightwind 144 0r 155 in either model. Why would a person choose one over the other?

The Isonics are for top end speed where as the Futura is fast it is not as fast as the Isonic. It has a bit more forgiveness in the turns and is a bit more stable for less advanced sailors.
