iS150 v is145

Is anyone sailing the 2009 iS150?
I have an 07 iS145 with a 58cm fin as my biggest board for maximising my light-wind planing opportunities on an inland lake.
I tried a friend's technora FType148 (65cm fin) and this planes earlier than my board, using the same sail. The FT148 is significantly wider at 95cm than the iS145 at 88.5cm, as is the iS150 at 93.5cm. Would changing to an iS150, and using the largest recommended fin at 62cm show the same sort of result in respect of earlier planing?

Hi Afblaster,

The FType 148 are more Formula orientation, so have a great ability up wind but less fun on reach and down wind. The iSonic 150 is a really early planing but more fast and more easy on reach. But the iSonic 150 will have also a great up wind particularly with big fin.
