istria / croatia / in november

Dear All

I have been searching some useful information about weather conditions / windsurfing spots to visit / unexpensive accomodation in Istria without sucess. I am planning a 3-5 days trip during first 2 weeks in Novebner. However the actual timming will depend on the promising weather forecast. Will be travelling by car from Poland (slalom / wave kit).

I would be highly appreciated to get any tips about istria conditions.

my experience with istria is that it basicly isn't too promising ... like, any time of the year ... More to the south, around Bol it tends to blow more often and stgronger. But i have no real experience with november conditions. I checked the windstats on windfinder and they agree with me. the best i could find in Istria was around Losinj with 26 % chance of 4 BFt or stronger...And those stats apply for most of Croatia around November ... Sorry dude

The best spots you will find aroun Premantura in the south of Istria, If teh Bora winds are strong, it´s worth to drive to Italy, too. Spots like Lignano or Sotta Marina below Venice offer some waves and sandy shores.
The south of Istria also works great with wind from the southern direction.
