View Full Version : twinfin vs surfboard

The new twinfin waveboards seem relatively much more narrower in the tail than professional surfboards (those without a sail). They are both specialized in surfing the wave as radical as possible, why than such a relative difference in tailwidth?

Good question, especially since my MooCustom twin is wide and fairly thick in the tail and works like a charm, so they really don't have to be. But remember - fast guns are narrow in the tail too. It's a matter of control at speed.
