Windsurfing locations near West Palm Beach,FL

Hello - i'm a beginner who is hooked on windsurfing.

a) I've gotton great responses from other Forum readers on my prior questions - I owe a big thanks to people who've given me invaluable input. Love the windsurfing community!

b) I recently moved to south Florida (West Palm Beach). I've rented & taken lessons at Calema (on Merritt Island) and Sailboards (in Miami). I haven't found any other windsurfing shops/schools in south Florida and the above outfits are each over an hour from my pad.

I AM WONDERING if people know of good/popular spots to windsurf in/near West Palm Beach. Ideally on the intracoastal (as I'm not advanced enough to venture into the ocean)....

The ocean is the best venue for West Palm...but if you are not ready then copy and paste your post from this Starboard forum and post it to these local groups

come up to the Stuart causeway, plenty of helpful people to sail with, and a great spot for beginers to advanced. when you are ready, plenty of spots at the coast to sail in the Palm Beaches.........

I'll second the suggestion for the Stuart Causeway. That's where those who don't sail the ocean tend to congregate in large numbers. The links provided give a lot of information about it.

Hi Asharfi, we wait ya at Dania Beach, 15 minutes south from WPBeach find the "Pier" at the beach and in week ends you'll see a lot of windsurfers and kitesurfers doing its best.
If wind blows enough you never sail alone at the ocean.
Free parking.
