Tell me what ya think...
My brother and me think current twinzers are nowhere as extreme as they could be (fins still too big, and no cant or tow on fins). Thus we designed and custom built a thruster fin (3 equal fins like a surf board) set-up for our wave boards. We use FCS fins and they are super nice, and we incorporated fin cant and tow angles.
We have older JP 69 wave and acid 66L. Our boards just rip so much harder now that we will never go back to single fins as there are so many more advantages!
We really think the thruster setup is sick but, I have now taken our project to the next level and am about to test the quad setup that is complete... plus my board is a full custom now with multiple, twin, thurster, quad, and 5-fin options. Can't wait to try it!
The original goal was to prove that the thruster concept works (we proved those sceptics wrong!) and make our boards better in waves, and now the goal is to promote the evolution of wavesailing boards and what people should be riding.
Why aren't more people on multiple fin setups, and production wave boards like this?...More fins just rip harder and we have tried and proven this!
