Im 42kg and i have a intermediate level, planning in footstraps, waterstart, beachstart and can tack.

I have a Starboard Kombat Tufskin 122L and would like to move to a another board and im thinking in the futura 111L or another good board...
Could you give your opinion ?

Thanks and good winds...

At your minimal weight, and with the pretty decent skills you have, it sounds like if you would need a MUCH smaller board. It of course depends on what size sails you are using, but I have a hard time believing that you ever would need a bigger sail than a 6.0.

In you shoes I would start looking for a board no bigger than 95 liters. In this size there are still a few freeride oriented boards. You could probably manage really well with a even smaller board, like a freestyle wave (e.g. Kode) in the 85 liter range.

I think your better choice is an Starboard Go
and of course a sail bigger than 6.0

Hi Fred,

The Futura 111 isn't a bad choice considering that you are stepping from a Kode 122. Like PG mentions, it might be too close to the 122 in size though, so you might outgrow that board quite fast. Futura 101 is one alternative I'd consider.
