High wind sail for 200cm boom, 460cm mast

Hi,

I'm trying to get a high wind sail w/o having to get new boom and sail. My boom goes down to 200cm. I have a north 460 cm mast.
Is my best bet getting a 7.0'ish race sail from a few years back? I'm flat water BAF'ing.
It's hard to justify spending so much money on boom/mast when I don't get all that many big days.

have a look at the Xtypes 6.0 and 6.6 from North Sails. It works with 4.60 masts and 2m boom.

Well there's obviously a mistake in X-Type specs: the 6.0 has longer boom than the 6.6 !! But a 6.6 may do the job, depending on your weight and skills.
Another option is Naish Sprint 2008 (2009 version has shorter boom and rigs on a 4.30 mast). These are excellent sails up to ~20 Knts.

From 6.6 the xtypes have a cutaway clew. That's why the boom length have a 'strange jump'.

A TR-5 on a North mast? I wouldn't recommend that.

My mistake, sorry. 200 is quite a long boom for a 6 sqm anyway, I wonder what the range difference with 6.6 may be.
