Futura 122 best/affordable RIG

I wonder if anyone can help me to configure the best and affordable RIG for a Futura 122, to sail 15 to 25 knots.

My weight is 76Kg or 167.5 Pounds

U r so lucky !!!
i am 100kg and cannot dream of using the sails U would require :-)

look up james douglass sail calculator xls

with 76 kg 15 knots is 6.8 and 25 knots is 4.8 !!!
so, i guess it makes sense to go for the middle --> 5.8 or 6.0

what r U using now ??

I have a Futura 122 with a North Ram F9 7.8 rig. Very pleasant and stable, I would recommend it. (you can see by searching "F388949" on Youtube).

Futura 122 with a 7.6m sail for that wind perfect. Maybe a 7.0m

When you say 15-25 knots do you mean average? Or do you mean gusting to 25 with lulls at 15? I’m around 77 Kg and I wouldn’t dream of being on a 122 liter board with a 25 knot average, more like a 70-85 liter board.

If you are talking about gusts to 25 with lulls to 15, then I would say yes to the 7.6m sail. If you are talking about averages from 15 to 25 then I would say a 6.5m sail, but on a much smaller board like the Futura 93.
