My weight is 68 kg, 72 kg with waterwear and harness.
My sails are Ezzy Infinity 2009 2cam 7,5 and 8,5 mq, + boom and mast carbon. I want to go out with less wind possible. I surfing in italy, near rome.
Which ISonic WC should I buy??131 or 121??
Thank you very much.

Grazie ho tovato in altre thread:

And the best combination are :
iSonic 86 Slim : 5,4m/SL4 32
iSonic 86 : 5,8m/SL4 34
iSonic 94 : 6,2m/SL4 34
iSonic 101 : 7,2m/SL4 38
iSonic 111 : 7,8m/SL4 40
iSonic 121 : 8,3m/SL4 44
iSonic 131 : 8,8m/R16 50
iSonic 144 : 9,8m/R16 52
iSonic 150 : 10,7/R13 56

Ciao Giulio and all,
would recommend you the 121. You easily can carry a 8,5 to 9,0 m on this iSONIC. No worries. Guess the 131 would work for you as well, but the ideal windrange is quite limited, which means the board gets to big soon.
But think about, what for you will use the board! Cruising with upwind parts, Slalom racing in figure 8 courses, downwind slalom....
This can make a big difference

Cheers,
Chris

In your weight, take 121 up to 9,0 like Chris recommended !
No difference in start of planing in this weight.

121, you'll gain nothing with a bigger one, not at your weight and 8.5 sail.

One interesting aspect concerning the sailsize: saw guys on PWA races with 8,4 m sails on the 133 thsi season and tehy were really fast. The board gave them so much lift and speed in low wind conditions, that the sailsize did not seem to be as important as expected.
My conclusion is that the 133 or 131 now also seems to work excellent with an 8,5.
