Futura 141 or 155

Hi to the SB team. Just want to ask your comments on which board to choose.

I am 90kg, 185cm, in harness and footstraps, flat to small chops in winds 10-18 knots. I have a 120L JP Freeride (69cm wide) and 8.2 NP camberless sail but only planes 20% of the time. I use 44cm freerace fin for the board. Most of the time, I feel enough power in my hands but still slogging. Maybe a bigger/wider board would be the solution.

Any advice on what to get between Futura 141 and 155? Any pros/cons for each size?

Hi ADZ,

Futura 144 will be good for you with your 8,2, the 155 need bigger sails than that. Anyway the 144 is more fun.

Anyway, my next sail plan would be a 10.0 overdrive. Would the 141 be also fine? What might be the minimum wind to plane on the 141 + 10.0?
