adaminkernow Hi Carl,
Do you sail at Sandy point?
21 cm tectonics seems awfully small. (I think Steve thorp was using a 21 or 22cm tectonics at Driven by wind and found it too small)
I've used Isonic 50 with 24cm Tectonics and It was great, currently running the 24cm Tectonics on the SR50, and again just great especially downwind.
It seems Mals fins are going well, Bob Cunnigham and Farrel'o'shea are using to great effect here in the UK, and of course all the sandy point crew
I'd go for 24cm tectonics or one of Mals asy fins

fins for isonic 50

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend speed fin style and sizes for isonic 50. I use 2008 5.8m ka koncept and have done 40 knots on both the std 28cm slalom pro drake fin and 23cm drake speed fin. I have a 21cm tectonics on offer at the moment and also don't mind the sl7 select fins but don't know whether to go for a 25cm or 27cm or go for a smaller speed fin - 21cm tectonics or 23cm mal wright fin???

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Carl Macdonald.
