hey thanks you have help me a lot with this sail Calculator but when that's right i schould take a 3,22 sail for 25 knotes and in my opinion it's a littel bit to small . And I have just 3,5 but that's an old one and a 4,7 sail from 2008 but I'm looking forward to this trip altough it will be have hard conditions. . thanks for your answers.

Tim- I think you might need even smaller than a 4.2 for 25 knots. Check what is recommended for your weight by the sail calculator at this link: http://www.vims.edu/general/sailpadd...Calculator.xls |

Hi Tim, i believe at really checked 25 knots always you are going to be over-boarded with 105 liter and even with a 4.2 will be almost imposible to windsurf a lot, so if you can, must take an 85 liter or less and that 4.2 unless you sail in flat-lake-shallow-water so then you could take the 4.7 or 5.3 to go really fast. Always talking of common windsurfing people. |

| crazychemical | Sorry willy, i disagree. this guy weighs 60K! more like 4.2. Though i agree with the 85L board, i assume Tim doesn't want to get himself a new board just for one trip. Just take a 4.2-ish sail for the hard ass days, a small fin (this sail in beneeth your recommended sailrange, so take like a 25 cm or 26 cm crossover fin with you). |
