30.31 knots It will go faster than that. I sailed my Futura 133 and NP V8 7.5 to these speeds below. The 122 would be faster again for sure. Flat water in Caloundra25 July 2008 2 sec 29.325Knots 31 Aug 2008 2 sec 27.431 knots 28 Sept 2008 2 sec 30.310 knots. The fin was a Select 41 RS Viper 2008. Not bad speeds for non race equipment. |

| Unregistered | Well I've had 27.7 knots on a '06 Kombat in mildly choppy waters so I would expect more than 28 knots for the Futura. | |

28kts I have now 28 ktn with the standard 40 cm fin, and an old 5.9 freestyle sail. With better sail and a smaller fin, there will be some more knots, I beleive........ Norvest |

27 knots so far......... Hei! I have just received my futura 122 wood. Two times now (8.0 and 6.6 no cam sail), I have had 27 kt on my GPS in chopy conditions with the Drake 40 cm standard fin. I guess I will get some more knots on flat water, and with a smaller fin. Norvest |
