Pryde's "OFF" explanation... Two things : - A "little mistake" in China, somme 430 Wave X9 have been badged as Race ones. - EVO II 6.2 are factory trimmed for the 430 wave X9 ( you said strange... ) You just have to buy a new wave mast and all is perfect. If you want to use your Gold price Race mast on the sail. - Trim the camber on middle position. - Cut 5 mm of the batten............................................ .. Pryde's quality control was in vacancy, nice for them, but what append of your sail waranty if the batten is shortened... |

No report of problems on other size than 430. But South of France is a Highwind aera and a lot of Pryde addicts sold theyre Evo II 5.5/5.1, after only 2/3 use... 6.2 with the good mast, or cam triming goes higher than the 5.5... Bad Sails or mast problem ??? The bottom of the bases have the same size, the "Q" one reduce as a Drop Shape. |

What size does your micrometer show at the bottom of the base? How about the 2007 X9 in comparison? |

The good one..... One more time Pryde makes the show. Do you have the good X9 430 2009.... Vrai => Wright/Good one, look Skinny Faux => False/Bad one, look SDM ![]() ![]() If you dont have the "Q" one you need cambers adjustements... The risk without the "Q". ![]() But i am sure that you knows the road to your Pryde dealer for an exchange... |
