Support the message above. I am about 260lb, sail the Mahalo almost exclusively the last couple of years. It took me a couple of years to realize that what may hold for “normal” sailors, do not apply for me. The wide beginner’s boards do well the first week. Planing a Start-board in footstraps is advanced technique even for people below 200lb. The Mahalo can also be used as tandem, works well with almost 500lb. . |
