I know it's cheesy to reply to my own thread, but after seeing the phantom race report on the front page, I'm more curious than ever to hear some rider impressions about the board. So I thought I'd bump this up.

Planing: Phantom vs. Hybrids

Would there be any difference in the planing thresholds of the Phantom, Hybrid Formula, and Hybrid Carve with ~9.5 m sail?

Also, any guesses as to where they would fall on the planing spectrum in comparison with other popular boards with daggerboards like the Exocet Kona and Mistral Prodigy?

And how far are they all behind early planing shortboards like formula, iSonic, GO, etc?
