Hey Katapult - thanks for the response...Is your x9 as old as mine? i.e. from circa 2004? It's sweet mast, superlight and in great condition so it's a shame to let it linger in the basement. |

Hi there, I currently use an x9 530 with my evo4 formula sails. Rigs nicely and the bend is obviously correct still with the newer sails. Hopefully the same for the 490, |

Older NP X9 mast Anyone know if the NP X9 mast bend has "evolved'? I have an old 490 np x9 mast from about 2004. It's in perfect condition. I'd like to use it in a newer evoIII 9.5. Would this work? I hear that the new np race sails are lower tension and don't exhibit the mast snapping behavior of the rs racing sails. I'm not racing, just want a big light wind slalom sail that will rig on a mast i already own. |
