Jarekg Hi Sean - thanks a lot for this post!
I will try my Boss 44 with R4 7.0
- generally I was afraid that Boss is far too soft for stronger wind and thougt, (that was also my experience for 8,3 + Boss and 22-25 knots - > quite strong wind and chop)

So i was sure that the best solution will be to get some more stiffy and shorter fin for my Reflex4 7.0- Starboard recommends for 7.0 sth like Drake SL4 41
anyway - OK I will do some testing with Boss and 7.0
- thanks a lot!
best!

SeanAUS120 Hi Jarekg,

You probably already have the best fin!

Last season I used 44cm most of the time on my 117w with 8.6 - 7.8 - 7.0. I was using a Z-Fin 44cm which should be pretty similar to the Boss. For extra lightwind performance with the 8.6 you can go for a 46cm but I found I couldn't go any smaller than 44cm even on the smaller sails. I was 80kg last year riding the 117w.
