Remi Hi MKSL,

Your 7.8 rig is about max 15 kgs and you will have no problem to float with the 110, I am 93 and even with the 8.6 Reflex IV, no problem.
For performances the 110 is perform much more in light to medium wind and equal with the 117 in strong winds in very choppy water due to totally different bottom shape, but moderate chop the 110 is the winner even in strong winds.

Hope this help

All the best

Unregistered Remember that your rig, board and equipment adds about 20 kgs to your weight. So the 110 may dive slightly when you pull the rig.

iSonic 117/75 or 110/75

Hi!

I'm looking to buy new board. Till now I sailed on JP 76, Falcon 76, Patrik 122/77,5.

I use one board concept in combo with NP RSR 7,8, wind 13-25 knots. I have 90 kg.

Now I m in dilema to buy 2012 117/75 or 2013 110/75?

Has anyone ride both. How goes 110 throu windholes and on low wind conditions against 117? How is with control in high wind? Is it possible to floating arround in no-wind with 110 and 90 kg?

Thanks!
