RE: Fin or mast track position Hi Guest, So, you are "spinning out" the fin. What size sail (s) vs what size fin (s). What type (i.e. brand and model) sails and fins are you using? How much wind? How big is the chop? Are you "spinning out" on a beam reach, or only when you try to go upwind? What is your weight? I doubt that the type of harness you are using makes a whole lot of difference here, but your line length and positioning might have some effect. Hope this helps, |

RE: Fin or mast track position Hi I am using seat harness with fixed 24cm harness lines. As a matter of fact I am struggling to find a sweet spot for the lines and always seem to have to adjust them a little bit. Not sure how you knew that?? Appreciate your help. Have a great day. P |

Fin or mast track position Hi I have a Isonic 125 and a JP 136. I thought that under hot conditions (+23 knots) the technical side of the Isonic was getting the better of me, as the back side would lose grip and slide sideways. (Nose points into the wind) Now I am doing it with both boards. I changed the fin down a couple of sizes, but with both boards have the same problem. Is this a mast track setting, or am I getting too old. Please help. Cheers |
