Hi Chris and RR,
Today I bought the EVO XTV 75!! Haven't sailed it yet, because there was not enough wind. It's also a great looking board. Thanks for your replies.
Have fun, TJ

i have had this board since last august and im really happy with it- easyto sail when you're just cruzin but if you push it then it will really perform well. the only other board that comes close (imho) is the rrd wave cult 75 (notthe hc)
if you get one do experiment with fins as chris says- they make a big diference.

The good qualities of the EVO that you mention are just the ones that I'm looking for in a high wind board. Thank you for your reply.
Best wishes, TJ

the board feels very easy to sail and has a great performance in many terms: white water crossing, jumping, waveriding (vertical), highwind control.
I prefer to use sailsizes from 4,0 - 5,3 on this size. Th eboardspeed is fine and it starts to plan quite. If you want to slide on the lips and get really vertical in ripping waves get a smaller finsize in the box.
All the best,

Evo Xtv 75 2008
I'm looking for a high wind board which I will use when my kombat 89 becomes to big. My weight is 85 kg.
I don't like the acid, a lot of sailors love it, but it doesn't work for me.
I'm interested in the evo 75 from 2008. It seems to do pretty well in windsurf magazine tests, but I'm also interested in longtime sailing impressions of this board by regular sailors. Is everybody who has bought this board happy with it's performance?
