Hi Grant,

Removing the pin in the mast track isn't a problem, just saw it off. It shouldn't affect the integrity of the track. The pin is there for those who want to have an extra security attachment for their rig or for those who want to lock their boards to the car for example.

RE: iSonic 111 & 133

Hi,

For some reason I can't start a new thread on this forum so I thought I'd ask a question about the new isonics here. I have a isonic 125 and would like to remove (cut out) the metal bar near the front of the mast track (which I believe is used to hold a leash of some sort). I want the full range of the mast track. Is there any downside to taking out this bar?

Thanks,

Grant

Hi Olli,

The "best" depends on a lot of variables, but the main ones are rider height + weight, sail size range - or typical sail size (for each board) and water conditions (type/pitch of chop etc).

Let us know a bit more and we can give some more accurate suggetsions

Cheers ~ Ian
