Got to agree with you on this one. I am amazed Starboard make 94 and 105 ltr Kodes with US Box. Well It cost them this year I bought two JP's instead. Should get them next week.
Both are powerbox....no more US Crap.

Powerbox used by Exocet, JP, etc
All of the other major Freestyle Wave manufacturers offer these boards with Powerbox fins, Starboard is making a major mistake by sticking with the US box.
It shows they are not serious about the Freestyle Wave market. How many riders will give up their collection of four or more fins when they buy a new board?
Tuttle is perfect for large boards, and it would be my preference for all boards, but Powerbox works well for Freestyle Wave boards, and most sailors I know do not like the old surfboard style fins.

I just want to modify sth...Starboard does not use a Powerbox system. It is called Tuttlebox.
But to the question is I don't know as well why is SB using US box?
My old board has also a wave fin with tuttle, which i found OK...not the leightest one, but robust!

Kode 112 vs. Futura 111 speed ratings
Has anyone had a chance to compare these two boards? I'm looking for something to go fast with my 6.6 and 7.2 sails. (80 kg, 1.8m)
Too bad Starboard stuck with the junk box for the smaller Kode boards while all the other Freestyle Wave type boards use the Power Box.
What is the problem with the Power Box? Starboard needs to wake up, I will never buy another board with the junk US box- they are for surfboards.
