Hi Michael, Yes, the 7.5 m2 Severne Glide would work very well on the Futura 111. Maybe not for extremely overpowered conditions (> 16 knots perhaps) but I've used the Glide on the Apollo, Serenity, and several 100 liter + Futuras, Carves, etc. The Glide will get you planing about the earliest possible with the Futura 111. The Glide has a very powerful draft, and is very light in weight making it a great sail for early planing. It does not have much "top twist" so it's not so good if you sail it overpowered. If you have a 6.5 m2 rig to take care of 16 knots and up, you will be very happy with the Glide! |

Futura 111 and Severne Glide 7,5 Hi Guys, is it possible to use a Glide 7,5 with a Futura 111 from 2008? Thanks for your help and best regards, Michael |
