Good South Americans coming up, Gonzalo y Shurminator, Jimmy Diaz from North, Dave Kashy, Fernando Martinez (US National Champ), Steve Sylvester, Blogner I mean Bodner, and don't forget the world famous MOvie STar....turnout looking real good, plus lots of Kona Racers and wind looks real nice--get your behind to Miami!!

2009 North American Formula Windsurfing Championship in Miami, FL

Thereís still time to register for the 2009 North American Formula Windsurfing Championship in Miami, Florida January 17th through January 19th!

We have confirmed that Jimmy Diaz, North Sails designer and pro windsurfer, and Gonzalo Costa Hovel, current Formula Vice World Champion, will be attending along with a number of other proís debuting lots of new 2009 racing gear, including a strong turnout from the Kona fleet.

This event is a Level 1 Formula Windsurfing World Ranking event, factor 1.5, sanctioned by ISAF and governed by the 2005/2008 Racing Rules of Sailing - Windsurfing Competition Rules as well as the IFWC Class Rules and Championship Rules.

Shake-A-Leg Miami is located at 2620 South Bayshore Drive, Miami, FL 33133. We are conveniently located directly on Biscayne Bay, two blocks from Downtown Coconut Grove and just a few miles from Downtown Miami and South Beach.

This Championship is being held as a part of the Alex Caviglia Bluewater Classic, a fundraising regatta helping to support Shake-A-Leg Miamiís watersports programs for people with disabilities and disadvantaged youth.
