Papounet, you are kind of right. But in high wind I would prefer a bit less flex in the fin. So a right sized S07 would be far superior to the Select Ghost in real world conditions. What do you think? Only in real lightwind or underpowered flat conditions I believe the Ghost has an advantage theoretical. I would like to know what you think, since I haven't sailed the Ghost.

It is hard to compare, since not all slalomboards/ racesails have same needs. Underneath isonic the ghost could work well, even better in some conditions. Underneath a fanatic falcon I would definitly go for rs7. |

As far as I know, the ghost has less power than rs7. But the ghost also got more flex (or taillift) I would prefer the rs7, but if you are in heavier conditions a ghost could add a bit control. Speedwise, the rs7 is faster. Can't help you more, I have to less experience with big stuff. |
