You are using 11m at 117kgs on the 144 without problems ?
And what wouls be your minimum sail to use the 144 with ?
I'm 115kgs so your advice would be appreciated.
I plan to use it with 9,8 (maybe bigger ?) and 8,4 ...
Which fins do you use ?
Tks a lot !

|mark h||yeah, the 11m works fine on the 144. My friend uses a 10.8m on his 133 with probs. But, not so comfy if the wind dissappears and your in slogging mod.|

|mark h||Going great, looking forward to attempting to get those numbers up on the dial for 2009. West Kirby lake might be closing for wall repairs so might have to join you guys for a sail at the big D. We've got a light wind day tommorrow so I'm about to carb-up with giant bowl of porridge (and a couple or 3 beers).|

Thanks Mark I can't wait to get my hands on it now and yes I'm still on Severne and will have my new Code Reds soon to I'm going with a 5.4 6.1 6.7 7.8 8.8 and 9.8 I didn't go with the 5.1 as I never used my 08 one it was 5.4 in 50 to 60 knots and it felt great .
I sold my iS101 but I got a futura 122 and I love it . How are you getting on and what are you to this year ?

I'm 119 kgs, so you might consider my opinion as valid.
At our weight I think that we need the biggest rig money can buy for light winds.
I have a F162 with a 12,3 sail up to 16/18 kts and then I switch to a slalom 80 (130L) board with 8,4 ...
BUT I did not test a bigger slalom boards like the 144, it might help but the Formula + 12m is the way to go if you want to play in the 10/12 kts range at this weight ...

I considered myself one of a bigger guys (in windsurfing) with my 95 kg.
The biggest I have now is 122, and i use it with 8.5. I think as well 144 will be fine for you.

The iS144 would good for you at 117kg. Would be good for 8.1 through to 9.8 (10k to 20k). A couple of decent fins would help loads, one for figure of 8, and one for down wind. Considering its size, the iS144 is pretty good when the sea gets up with no lose of confidence. I seem to remember that you have an iS101? If you have, then the iS101 & iS144 will get you a big range with no wasted cross-over. Are you still on Severne?
