mim Hi leysenkr,

with the iSonic, the 122 be my choice with your weigth...it is sweet board and for me - 100kg - it works nice with 7.5 and 8.5, maybe even down to 6.5

for your 72 kg it will be nice light wind board and you surely can take even 9.0 or bigger on that.

Good luck with the money.
Ciao M.

leysenkr For the moment I have a 101 Futura and a 142 other brand.
I wan't to go for the 86 Kode (end off this year) and when i filled my wallet again, i'll complete this with an Isonic 122 or 133 (end off next year) and sell the 142.

I weigh 72kg.

Farlo Hello Iago, then you could keep the FU122 and go for Kode 86 as smallest board.
You don't need much more with 5,8 and 5.

iago thanks to all for assistance!!
now I have 2 board : futura 122 and kombat 105 ( 2008 tech )

with 7,2 - 6,4 - 5,8 - 5.0 sails
I planing well ( with 2 o 3 pump ) also with 9/10 knots ( 122lt and 7,2 )
I would like to change to: Futura 111 (2009 wood) and kode 94 ( 2009 wood )
Let me know if it is a correct choice!

Roger Hi iago,
I agree with the others here..... a bit unrealistic to have one board cover 10-25 knots.
If you had 2 boards, say the Futura 122 for 12 knots to 18 knots and a smaller 85-95 liter board for 18-25 knots, and a larger rig (perhaps 8.5) you might cover this range.
No one is saying you cannot sail either board with your 5.0 m2 NP Combat in 25 knots, but we all seem to agree that it won't be fun.

Farlo Hello Iago, at 65 Kg you could also consider the FU101, good with 7.2 as biggest sail and still manageable with 5x. However a wind range of 12 to 25 knots is more realistic. You would need a bigger sail to plane with FU111 or 122 in some 10 knots, and these may become quite cumbersome over 20 knots at your weight.

Screamer Iago

10-25 knots is not realistic, for any single board.
Both 111 and 122 will take a 7.2, but you could use bigger on the 122 to maximise low end.

iago hi Roger
sailing bigger point7 7.2 square,
the smallest combat Neil Pryde 5.0

Roger Hi iago,
Which volume is better will depend on more than just your weight.
If you sail in a low wind area (<14 knots), then the Futura 122 might be better as it
will plane earlier and take larger rigs.
If you have higher winds (14-20 knots) then the 111 would be better.
What sail sizes do you plan to use?
Freshwater or the sea?
Hope this helps,
