|Deja Vu||I really like the Isonic (wood) 150. It planes early, is very fast on a reach and when powered goes upwind extremely well. The only downside is gybing, which is much tougher than gybing a FF138 or FF158 or even an Is 133! I've nailed quite a few fully planning gybes, but it is a lot more work ( I think it is somewhat akin to gybing a door). I haven't had a chance to sail it with anything bigger than a 9.1 so I'm looking forward to trying a 10.0 or 10.5. In moderate winds (15 to 18 knots) it is very competitive with the Is 133 (a true classic IMO) , which is impressive considering the 150's size (width). I'm very interested in seeing what it can do with a 9.5, 10.0 or 10.5 in light winds - this will be the litmus test.|

|Unregistered||For people like me who want a very light very early planing board. If you follow your logic why produce it at all if its out side of the PWA rules?|

|nonopr||The reason is that it is not allowed in the PWA due to the size limit and since it has that handycap why would they produce it in carbon. Also the board is like a mini formula and the new formula boards are not 100% carbon either just the deck and the bottom in wood.|

Why is the 2010 iSonic 150 not being produced in a carbon version. I would have thought this size would have benefited the most from the weight saving?
Does the 2010 version have the sharper rails on the tail with new cut outs or is the board not changed from the 2009 model?
